xMatters Integration

Integrating xMatters with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts. 



Key benefits  

When you integrate Josys with xMatters, you can view the list of user accounts, including their status, roles, type of license, user site, timestamp of user's last login, timestamp of account creation and updation, and the user group.

Note: Josys supports multiple xMatters integrations.



Prerequisites 


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • An xMatters admin account
  • Free, Starter, Base, or Advanced plan
  • The Subdomain, API Key, and API Secret Key for integration



Locating the API Key and API Secret Key

 

Step 1: Log in to xMatters using an admin account. Select Profile from User Profile



Step 2: Select Manage API Keys from More Actions



Step 3: Click the Create API Key Credential to generate the API Key and Secret Key



Step 4: Enter the Organization Name and click Create. 



Step 5: Copy the API Key and Secret Key for later use in the integration steps.



Steps to Integrate


Step 1: Select xMatters from the App Catalog in the Apps section.




Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Subdomain in the respective field. If the URL is https://yourorganization.xmatters.com, then yourorganization is the Subdomain.


Step 3: Enter the API Key and API Secret Key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.  



 

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
