Sumo Logic Integration

Integrating Sumo Logic with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.


Key benefits  

When you integrate Josys with Sumo Logic, you can view a list user accounts, including details such as their status and roles.

Note: Josys supports multiple Sumo Logic integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Sumo Logic admin account.
  • The Server URL, Access ID, and the Access Key.
  • A Free, Essentials, Enterprise Operations, Enterprise Security, or the Enterprise Suite plan.


Get the Access ID and Access Key


Step 1: Log in to Sumo Logic using an admin account. From the Administration menu, click Security.



Step 2: Click the Access Keys tab and then click Add Access Key.


 

Step 3: Enter an appropriate Name for identifying the Access Key. Click the Save button to proceed.



Step 4: Copy the Access ID and Access Keyas you will use them in the further integration steps. Click Done.


 

Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Sumo Logic from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Server URL from the drop-down by referring to the URL of your Sumo Logic Dash. Enter the Access ID and Access Key copied in the previous step. Click Next to proceed. 


Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
