Integrating Jamf Pro with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the accounts.

Key benefits

When you integrate Josys with Jamf Pro, you can view a detailed list of user accounts. This includes their status, roles, directory user, access level status, forced password change status, and the LDAP server name.

Note: Josys supports multiple Jamf Pro integrations.

Prerequisites

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Jamf Pro admin account
  • A Jamf Pro auditor account
  • The Subdomain of your Jamf Pro, Login ID, and Password.

Creating a user account with an Auditor privilege

Step 1: Log in to Jamf Pro using an admin account. Navigate to Settings and click User accounts and groups.

Step 2: Click New to add a new user with Auditor privilege.

Step 3: Select Create Standard Account and click Next.

Step 4: Enter a Username, select Auditor in the Privilege dropdown menu. Then, enter Password and Verify Password in the respective fields. Click Save.

Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Jamf Pro from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the following Subdomain.

For example, if the URL is https://yourdomain.jamfcloud.com, then yourdomain is the subdomain.

Step 3: Enter the Login ID and Password associated with your Auditor account in the respective field. Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
