IT admins can now integrate Jira with Josys to log tickets from Josys in Jira for actions that cannot be completed within Josys and require external tracking, such as offboarding users, reviewing shadow accounts, or addressing access issues.
Steps to Set Up Jira Integration
Step 1: Select the Integrate Workspace Tools option from Integrations menu.
Step 2: Click the Link next to Jira Integration under Ticketing Software.
Step 3: If Jira is not already integrated, click New Integration and follow the steps here to authenticate and authorize Josys with your Jira workspace.
Step 4: Once Integrated, select the integration from the dropdown and click Link Integration.
You can now create Jira tickets in Josys where the “Create Jira Ticket” option is available.
How to Create a Jira Ticket from a User Profile
Step 1: Navigate to the User Profiles from the left navigation menu and select the user profile for which you want to create a Jira Ticket.
Step 2: Click the Actions Menu and select Create Jira Ticket.
Step 3: Enter the respective ticket details in the given fields and click Create Ticket.
Step 4: You’ll see a “Jira Ticket Created!” confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
