Integrating Atlassian with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.

Key benefits

When you integrate Josys with Atlassian, you can:

  • View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, and groups.
  • Perform action: Delete a user account.
Note: Josys supports multiple Atlassian integrations.

Prerequisites

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • An Atlassian admin account
  • The Admin Email, API Token, Admin URL, Organization ID, and Organization API Key.

Locating the Organization ID and Organization API Key

Step 1: Log in to Atlassian using an admin account. Select API Keys from Settings

Step 2: Click Create API key.

Step 2: Select the  "API key without scopes" key access and click Next.

Step 3: Enter a suitable name to identify the API key and click Next.

Step 4: Copy the Organization ID and API Key for later use in the integration steps. Click Done.

Locating the API Token

Step 1: Select Account settings from the User Profile menu

Step 2: Click the Settings tab and then click Create and manage API tokens.

Step 3: Enter a suitable Label for the API token and click Create.

Step 4: Copy the API Token for later use in the integration steps.

Locating the Admin URL

Step 1: Log in to your Atlassian Admin account https://admin.atlassian.com/

Step 2: Navigate to Jira on the left and select your respective project.

Step 3: Once your Project opens, copy its URL to use later in the integration steps. For instance, if your Project's URL is https://yourorganizationname.atlassian.net/jira/projects?selectedProjectType=software%2Cbusiness, then copy https://yourorganizationname.atlassian.net/.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label, then enter the Admin Email in the respective fields.

Step 3: Enter the API Token, Organization ID, and Organization Api Key, and Admin URL copied in the previous sections in their respective fields.

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
