Integrating SolarWinds Service Desk with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with SolarWinds Service Desk, you can view user account details, including their status, roles, account creation, updation, and last login timestamp, site, department, and group.
Note: Josys supports multiple SolarWinds Service Desk integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A SolarWinds Service Desk admin account
- A JSON Web Token for integration
- The Professional or Enterprise plan
Locating the Data Center Region
Step 1: Log in to SolarWinds Service Desk using an admin account.
Step 2: From Settings, select Account and then click Account Summary. Copy the Data Center Region to use later in the integration steps.
Locating the JSON Web Token
Step 1: Log in to SolarWinds Service Desk using an admin account.
Step 2: From the Settings, click Users & Groups and then click Users. Open the user details by clicking on the user name.
Step 3: Select Generate JSON Web Token from the Actions menu.
Step 4: Copy the JSON Web Token to use later in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select SolarWinds Service Desk from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Data Center Region and enter the JSON Web Token copied in the previous sections, and click Next to proceed.
Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
