IT Glue Integration

Integrating IT Glue with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the account details.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with IT Glue, you can view a list of user accounts, including details such as their status, roles, group, and timestamp for account creation, updation, and last login. 


Note: Josys supports multiple IT Glue integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • An IT Glue admin account
  • The Region URL and API Key
  • A Basic, Select, or an Enterprise plan


Locating the API Key


Step 1: Log in to IT Glue using an admin account. Navigate to Accounts and select Settings


Step 2: Within Settings, select API Keys. Click the Generate API Key. Copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps. 




Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select IT Glue from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Region URL from the dropdown menu. You can get the Region URL from your IT Glue login URL.

For example, if the login URL is https://myorganization.au.itglue.com/ then the Region URL is https://api.au.itglue.com.

Step 3: Enter the API Key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.


Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
