FreshDesk integration

Integrating FreshDesk with Josys enables the IT Admin to view accounts.


Key benefits  

When you integrate Josys with FreshDesk, you can view a list of user accounts, including details such as status, roles, occasional agent, ticket scope, agent type, and timestamp of the last login.

Note: Josys supports multiple FreshDesk integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A FreshDesk admin account
  • The Subdomain URL and the API Key
  • The Enterprise plan, the growth plan, or the pro plan.


Locating the Subdomain and API Key


Step 1: Log in to FreshDesk using an admin account. From the User Profile options, click Profile Settings.



Step 2: Click View API Key.


Note: Confirm the Captcha to view the API Key.



Step 3: Copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps.   



Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select FreshDesk from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Subdomain in the respective field.

For example, in the URL https://example.FreshDesk.com, the example is the subdomain.


Step 3: Enter the API Key as copied in the previous step. Click Next to proceed.


Step 3:
 After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
