Search Discovered apps using the Search Field

If you want to review a specific app then use the Search filter.

Step 1: Navigate to the Discovered Apps under Apps


Step 2:  Enter the App name in the search field and press Enter.


Let's say you want to search Zoom app, then enter Zoom in the Search field and press Enter


The search result is displayed based on your entered search text.

Josys offers the following three methods to filter and classify the Apps:

  • App Type: Josys categorizes discovered apps into two distinct types: Integrable Apps and Trackable Apps. Integrable Apps are supported for integration purposes, while the Trackable Apps can only be monitored.
  • App Category: The App Category feature from Josys assists in arranging a wide range of applications within your organization's apps. This classification goes beyond simple sorting, empowering you to improve your understanding and management of the application environment.
  • Risk Level: Josys' Risk Level feature categorizes each app with a specific classification (low, medium, high). This feature is vital for security, highlighting potential risks or threats linked to each app.
  • Compliance: Compliance provides insights into whether the apps are adhering to the compliance regulatory standards.


Add a Filter


Step 1: Click Add a Filter in Discovered Apps and select an option from the dropdown menu.



Step 2: You can select any of the following options:


  • Type: You can choose between Integrable App or Trackable App and click ApplyFor example, if you want to view a list of all integrable apps, select Integrable App and click Apply.



  • Category: Filters the apps based on the different categories they belong to. Select the category and click ApplyFor example, if you want to view a list of all Communication apps, select Communication and click Apply.



  • Risk Level: Filters the apps based on their risk level. Select the Risk Level and click Apply. For example, to view a list of Low-Risk Level apps, select Low and click Apply
