Close Integration

Integrating Close with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the account details.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Close, you can view a list of user accounts, including details such as their status, roles, and timestamps for account creation and updation.


Note: Josys supports multiple Close integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Close admin account
  • The Organization ID and API Key
  • A Startup, Professional, or Enterprise plan


Locating the API Key


Step 1: Log in to Close using your admin account. Then, select Developer from the Settings menu. Next, click New API Key. 


Step 2: Enter an appropriate name for the API key. Click Create API Key.


Step 3: Copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps.


Locating the Organization ID


Select Memberships from the Settings menu. Click the More icon and select Copy ID (API) to copy the Organization ID for later use in the integration steps.


Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Close from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the API Key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.


Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
