Integrating Cisco Meraki with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Cisco Meraki, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, authentication method, two-factor authentication status, availability of API key, and the timestamp of the last account activity.
Note: Josys supports multiple Cisco Meraki integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Cisco Meraki admin account
- The Organization Name and API key for integration
Locating the Organization Name
Step 1: Log in to Cisco Meraki using an admin account. Navigate to the Organization menu and click Settings under Configure.
Step 2: Copy the Organization name as you will use it in the further integration steps.
Step 3: Scroll down to enable API Access by selecting the Enable access to the Cisco Meraki Dashboard API checkbox and Save Changes.
Locating the API Key
Step 1: Log in to Cisco Meraki using an admin account. Navigate to the User Avatar menu and select My Profile.
Step 2: Scroll down to the API access section and click the Generate new API Key.
Step 3: Copy the API Token for later use in the integration steps. Select I have stored my new API key checkbox and click Done.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Cisco Meraki from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Organization name and API key copied in the earlier section. Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
