Basecamp Integration

Integrating Basecamp with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.


 

Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Basecamp, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, and the account creation and updation timestamp.


Note: Josys supports multiple Basecamp integrations.


Prerequisites  


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Basecamp admin account.
  • A Basecamp or Basecamp PRO UNLIMITED plan.
  • An Account ID for integration.


Locating the Account ID 


Log in to the Basecamp using an admin account. Copy the Account ID from the URL.


For example, in the URL https://3.basecamp.com/sampleid/projects, sampleiis the account id.




Steps to Integrate 

 

Step 1: Select Basecamp from the App Catalog in the Apps section.



 

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Account ID copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.   




Step 3: Log in to Basecamp using an admin account. Follow the guided steps to authorize Josys and complete the integration. 


Step 4After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
