Integrating Trello with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Trello, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, user name, and login types.
- Perform actions: Create or delete a user account.
Note: Josys supports multiple Trello integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Trello Admin Account.
- Free, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan.
- Organization Name, API Key, and API Token for integration.
Locating the API Key and API Token
Step 1. Log in to Trello using an admin account and access the API key by visiting https://trello.com/app-key. Copy the Personal Key for later use in the integration steps.
Step 2. Open the following URL and replace {Your Personal Key} with the Personal Key copied in Step 1.
https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key={Your Personal Key}
For example, if the Personal Key is abc123abc123, then your URL will look like
https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read,write,account&response_type=token&name=ServerToken&key=abc123abc123
Step 3. Follow the guided steps to authorize Josys to access your account.
Step 4: Copy the Token for later use in the integration steps.
Locating the Organization Name
Step 1: Navigate to the User Profile menu and select the Profile and visibility option.
Step 2: Copy the Username under the About section of the profile and visibility for later use in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Trello from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Organization name, API Key, and API Token copied in the previous sections. Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
