Integrating Rapid7 with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Rapid7, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, last login timestamp, and federated access status.
Note: Josys supports multiple Rapid7 integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Rapid7 Admin Account
- The Region and API Key
Locating the API Key
Step 1. Log in to Rapid7 using an admin account. Select API Keys from Settings.
Step 2. Click Generate New User Key.
Step 3. Select the Organization name with which you want to integrate, enter the Name to identify the API token, and click Submit.
Step 4. Copy the API Key to use later in the integration steps.
Locating the Region
Log in to Rapid7 using an admin account. Click Settings and locate the Data Storage Region from the Organization Settings.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Rapid7 from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Region and enter the API Key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
