Discord Integration

Integrating Discord with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.

Key benefits

When you integrate Josys with Discord, you can:

View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, and the timestamp when the user joined Discord.
Perform action: Delete a user account.

Note: Josys supports multiple Discord integrations.

Prerequisites

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

A Discord admin account
A Server ID
A Free or Nitro plan

Locating the Server ID

Step 1: Log in to Discord using an admin account.

Step 2: Right-click the Server Name, and select Copy Server ID.

If the Copy Server ID option is not visible, then go to User Settings, select Advanced from the left navigation menu, and enable the Developer Mode.

Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Discord from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Server ID copied in the previous section and click Next to proceed.

Step 3: Log in to Discord using an admin account. Follow the guided steps to authorize Josys and complete the integration.

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
