StrongDM Integration

Integrating StrongDM with Josys lets the IT Admin view and manage user accounts.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with StrongDM, you can: 


  • View: List of user accounts, including their status and roles.
  • Perform Actions: Add, suspend, and delete user accounts.


Note: Josys supports multiple StrongDM integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A StrongDM admin account
  • An API Token
  • An Essentials, Enterprise, or a GovCloud plan



Locating the API Token


Step 1: Log in to StrongDM using an account with admin privileges.


Step 2: Navigate to the Settings menu on the left and select User Management. 


Step 3: Select the Generic SCIM option from the Provider dropdown menu and click Activate provisioning.



Step 3: Copy the SCIM token to use later in the integration steps.




Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select StrongDM from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field

Step 3: Enter the API Token copied from the previous section in their respective field and click Next to proceed.


Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
