Josys Alerts help IT Admins stay up-to-date with key action items and important updates on their organization's User Profiles, SaaS, and Devices. Alert notifications are sent to all Josys Admins via email. You can also integrate  with Slack to receive notifications in your workspace’s Slack channel.

The following alerts are triggered from Josys:

1. Offboarding and Onboarding Pending Action Alerts:

a. Offboarding AlertsThese alerts are generated when user profiles are in “Terminated” status i.e. employees are no longer part of the organization but still have Apps or Devices assigned to them.

b. Onboarding AlertsThese alerts are generated when user profiles are in "Initiated" or "Active" status but have not been assigned any Apps or Devices yet.

2. User Profile Out of sync alertsOut-of-sync alerts are triggered when there is a mismatch between a user profile's status on Josys and the external data source (such as GWS or Entra ID). This typically occurs when the user profile status is updated in the external system but has not yet been updated in Josys.

3. App Sync Error Alerts: Sync Error alerts are triggered when the daily sync between Josys and an integrated app fails.

4. Renewal Alerts

a. Upcoming Renewal: These alerts are triggered when an app renewal subscription is due within the next 2 months.

b. Renewal OverdueThese alerts are triggered when the app's subscription end date has passed and the renewal has not yet been completed.

5. Device Decommissioning Alerts

a. Devices Approaching Decommission DateThese alerts are triggered when a device is due to be decommissioned within the next 2 months.

b. Devices Past Decommission DateThese alerts are triggered when a device's status is still marked as 'in-use' after its decommission date has passed.
