Freshchat Integration

Integrating Freshchat with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the accounts.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Freshchat, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, account creation timestamp, group, and job title. 


Note: Josys supports multiple Freshchat integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Freshchat admin account
  • The Subdomain and API Key
  • A Growth, Pro, or Enterprise plan


Locating the Subdomain and API Key


Step 1. Log in to Freshchat using an admin account. Navigate to the Settings menu, and select Admin Settings. 



Step 2. Select API Settings from Marketplace and Integrations. 



Step 3. Click Generate Token and copy the API Key and Subdomain from the chart URL field for later use in the integration steps.


For example, if the chat URL is myorganization-org-9925465656.freshchat.com, then myorganization-org-9925465656 is the Subdomain. 




Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Freshchat from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Subdomain and API Key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.


Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
