Identifying Shadow Users

In Josys, you can use one of the following methods to identify Shadow Users:

• From the Managed Apps section

• From the User Profiles section

Using Managed Apps 

To identify Shadow users from Managed Apps section, do the following steps:

Step 1: After logging in to Josys, select Managed Apps from the Apps section. Here, you can view all the integrated apps. Click on the app name to view its user account details.

Step 2: On the application details page, you will see the number of Shadow users associated with that app.

Step 3: A Shadow user is denoted with the gray colored icon. Click the desired user. The user profile page opens from where you can perform further actions. 

Using User Profiles

To identify Shadow users from user profiles, do the following:

Step 1: Navigate to User Profiles, and then go to the Shadow Users tab.

Step 2: Click on the desired Shadow user. The user profile page opens from where you can perform further actions.

Further Actions

After you have detected the Shadow User, you can perform any of the following actions:

• Map user to an Existing User Profiles
• Convert to a New User Profile
• Delete the User Account
• Deprovision the Apps
