Integrating WordPress Self-host with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with WordPress Self-host, you can view the list of user accounts, including their status, roles, job titles, and account creation timestamp.
Note: Josys supports multiple WordPress Self-host integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A WordPress Self-host admin account
- The Host URL, Username, and Application Password
Locating the Username and Application Password
Step 1: Log in to WordPress Self-host using an admin account. Select Users from the left navigation menu. Copy the Username of the user for later use in the integration steps.
Step 2: Click the username of the user you want to integrate.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Application Passwords section. Enter the New Application Password Name in the respective field and click Add New Application Password.
Step 4: Copy the New Application Password for later use in the integration steps.
Note: Make sure to login using an HTTPS URL to create the new application Password.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select WordPress Self-host from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Host URL in the respective field.
For example, if the WebPress Self-host URL is https://yourhosturl/wp-admin, then the Host URL is https://yourhosturl.
Step 3: Enter the username of the user for which you want to set the Application Password in the Username field.
Step 4: Enter the Application Password copied in the earlier section and click Next to proceed.
Step 5: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
