Integrating WordPress Self-host with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with WordPress Self-host, you can view the list of user accounts, including their status, roles, job titles, and account creation timestamp.
Note: Josys supports multiple WordPress Self-host integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A WordPress Self-host admin account
- The Host URL, Username, and Password
Locating the Username, and Password
Step 1: Log in to WordPress Self-host using an admin account. Select Users from the left navigation menu and click Add New.
Step 2: Enter the Username and Email. Click Generate password and select Administrator from the Role field. Copy the specified username and password for later use in the integration steps. Click Add New User.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select WordPress Self-host from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Host URL in the respective field.
For example, if the WebPress Self-host URL is http://yourhosturl/wp-admin, then the Host URL is yourhosturl.
Step 3: Enter the Username and Password copied in the earlier section and click Next to proceed.
Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
