Integrating Datadog with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Datadog, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, title, service account, timestamp of account creation and modification, and email verification status.
- Perform actions: Create or disable user accounts.
Note: Josys supports multiple Datadog integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Datadog admin account
- Install the Datadog Agent installer
- The API key and Application key for integration
Locating the API Key and Application Key
Step 1: Log in to Datadog using an admin account.
Step 2: Click on the User ID at the bottom of the left menu and select Organization Settings.
Step 3: Copy the API Key and Application Key for later use in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Datadog from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. The URL for your Datadog API depends on the hosting site of Datadog.
Note: Depending upon the URL, you have to select the site from the subdomain dropdown while integrating Datadog.
For example, for Site US1, the site URL for the Datadog API is https://app.datadoghq.com, as shown in the following image.
Step 3: Enter the API key and an Application key copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.
Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
