Workplace Integration

Integrating Workplace with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts. 



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Workplace, you can view user account details, including their status, roles, and title.


Note: Josys supports multiple Workplace integrations.


 

Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Workplace admin account
  • The required Permissions and API Key 
  • A Core plan

 

Setting the required Permissions 


Step 1: Log in to Workplace using an admin account.


Step 2: From the Admin Panel menu, click Integrations, and then click Create custom integration.



 Step 3: Enter a sName to identify the integration and click Create.



Step 4: Click Permissions and select the following permissions:

  • Read group membership
  • Manage groups
  • Read user email
  • Manage accounts



Locating the API Key


Step 1: After setting the Permission as mentioned in the previous section, click Details and then click Create access token



Step 2: Copy the token to use it later in the integration steps.



Steps to Integrate

 

Step 1: Select Workplace from the App Catalog in the Apps section.



Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the API Key copied in the earlier section and click Next to proceed.  


Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
