Act! Integration

Integrating Act! with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts. 



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Act!, you can view user account details, including their status, roles, and timestamp of the user's last log in.


Note: Josys supports multiple Act! integrations.


 

Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • An Act! admin account
  • The Username, Password, and Database for integration. 
  • A Premium Cloud plan

 

Locating the Database


Step 1: Log in to Act! using an admin account.


Step 2: From the Help menu, click About Act!



 Step 3: Copy the Database Name to use later it in the integration steps.



Steps to Integrate

 

Step 1: Select Act! from the App Catalog in the Apps section.



Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Depending on your location, select Region. You can use one of the following options. 


Step 3: Select Region. The region can be identified by the URL visible after logging into the Act dashboard. For example, if the URL after logging is https://appus.act.com, your Region is the US. Likewise, the Regions for the other URLs are:

Step 4: Enter the admin Username and Password used to log in to Act. 


Step 5: Enter the Database copied in the previous section and click Next to proceed. 


Step 6: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
