Snyk Integration

Integrating Snyk with Josys lets the IT Admin view and manage user accounts.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Snyk, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, authentication method, and timestamp of when the user joined the account.


Note: Josys supports multiple Snyk integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Snyk admin account
  • A Region, API token, and Organization ID. 
  • A Free, Team, or Enterprise plan



Locating the API token 


Step 1: Log in to Snyk using an account with admin privileges.


Step 2: Navigate to the App name menu at the bottom and select Account settings. 


Step 3: Under General, copy the Key from Auth Token to use later in the integration steps. 




Locating the Organization ID


Step 1: Log in to Snyk using an account with admin privileges.


Step 2: Navigate to the Settings menu from the left and select General. 


Step 3: Copy the Organization ID to use later in the integration steps. 





Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Snyk from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field

Step 3: Select the Region from the dropdown menu. You can locate the region from Available Snyk Regions.

Step 4: Enter the API Token and Organization ID copied from the previous sections in their respective fields and click Next to proceed.


Step 5: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
