Integrating Contentful with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Contentful, you can
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, two-factor authentication status, and timestamp of the user's most recent account activity.
- Perform actions: Add and delete a user account.
Note: Josys supports multiple Contentful integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Contentful admin account
- An Organization ID
- A Personal Access Token
- A Premium or an Enterprise plan
Locating the Organization ID
Step 1: Log in to Contentful using an account with admin privileges.
Step 2: Click the Organization Name in the top-right corner.
Step 3: Click the Organization settings & subscriptions.
Step 4: Select the Organization information tab and copy the Organization ID to use later in the integration steps.
Locating the Personal Access Token
Step 1: Log in to Contentful using an account with admin privileges.
Step 2: Navigate to the User Profile in the top-right and select Account settings.
Step 3: Select the CMA tokens tab.
Step 4: Click Create personal access token.
Step 5: Provide a name to your personal access token for identification and click Generate.
Step 6: Copy the Personal Access Token to use later in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Contentful from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field.
Step 3: Enter the Organization ID and Personal access token copied in the previous sections in their respective fields and click Next to proceed.
Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
