Guru Integration

Integrating Guru with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage the user accounts.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with Guru, you can

  • View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, groups, and timestamps for the account creation.
  • Perform action: Delete a user account.


Note: Josys supports multiple Guru integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A Guru admin account
  • An Email and a User Token
  • Free, All-in-one, or Enterprise custom plan



Locating the Email and User Token


Step 1: Log in to Guru using an account with admin privileges.


Step 2: Navigate to Manage in the navigation menu and select Apps and Integrations


Step 3: Click the Generate user token from the API Access tab.  



Step 4: Select the user to create a read/write token and click Generate token.



Step 5: Copy the User email and User token for later use in the integration steps.





Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select Guru from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field

Step 3: Enter the User email and User Token in their respective fields and click Next to proceed.


Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
