Bitbucket Integration

Integrating Bitbucket with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.

Key benefits

When you integrate Josys with Bitbucket, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status, roles, and workspace name.

Note: Josys supports multiple Bitbucket integrations.

Prerequisites  

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

• A Bitbucket admin account
• A Premium plan
• The Workspace name and the API Key

Locating the Workspace Name

Open your Bitbucket account, click Workspace settings in General, and copy the Workspace Name. You will use it later in the integration steps.

Locating the API Key 

 Step 1: Log in to Bitbucket using an admin account. Select Workspace settings from Settings. 

Step 2: Select Access tokens and click Create Workspace Access Token.

Step 3: Enter the Name to identify the token and select Read in the Scopes. Click Create.

Step 4: Copy the Access token to use later in the integration steps.

Steps to Integrate 

Step 1: Select Bitbucket from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Workspace and API Key as copied in the previous section. Click Next to proceed.

Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
