Board Integration

Integrating Board with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.


Key benefits  

When you integrate Josys with Board, you can:

  • ViewList of user accounts, including their status and roles.


Note: Josys supports multiple Board integrations.


Prerequisites

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have: 

  • Board admin account
  • An API Key and the API Token


 

Get the API Key


Step 1: Log in to the Board using an admin account. Navigate to the Settings menu and click Developer API Settings. 


Step 2Click Generate new token.


Step 3: Enter an appropriate label for identifying the API Credential. Select User - Get List operations option and click Register.

Step 4: Copy the API Token and API Key for later use in the integration steps.  

 

Steps to Integrate


Step 1: Select Board from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the API Key and API Token copied in the previous steps, and click Next to proceed.


Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
