Provision/Deprovision SaaS apps for user profiles

Josys facilitates seamless provisioning and deprovisioning of apps for IT Admin to efficiently manage the access of the SaaS applications.

• Provision:  Provision is the process of granting SaaS application access to the users ensuring the users with the necessary permissions can use the application. 
• Deprovision: Deprovision is the process of revoking or deleting the access of the SaaS application from the users when the access is not needed or the user is offboarded from the organization.

Steps to provision apps for user profile

Step 1: Open the app from the Managed Apps that you want to provision to the user. Refer to Overview of Integrated Apps to learn how to open an app.

Step 2: You get two options:

• Schedule the app now 
• Schedule the app later

If scheduling the app now:

Step 1: Select the Schedule now option and click Next.

If scheduling the app later:

Select the Schedule for later option, set the date and time by when you want to provision the app, and click Next.

Step 2: Select the App(s) that you want to provision to the user and click Next. 

Step 3: Enter the necessary details to enable access to the app and click Next. 

Step 4: In this step, you can do any of the following:

• Send an email with the login instructions to the designated user or skip sending the email.
• Select the user to send the login instruction email.

Step 5: If an email is unavailable in the above list, then enter the email in the "Additional email address you'd like to send instructions to" field.

Step 6: Preview the app's email layouts and click Submit.

This will provision the app to the selected user. The user will receive the email as below:

Note: Before provisioning the apps, make sure that the selected apps have been integrated. Refer to the Apps & Integrations to learn about the integration process.

Steps to deprovision SaaS apps for the user profile

Step 1: Select Manage Accounts from the User Profile.

Step 2: Select the Schedule now option to deprovision the app immediately or Schedule for later option to deprovision the app later. After selecting the necessary option click Next.

Step 3: Choose the app(s) from the list that you want to deprovision and select the necessary action. Click Next.

Step 4: Review your selection before deprovision the app and click Submit. The selected app(s) will be deprovisioned from the user profile.
