How to disable IP whitelisting on Josys?

At times, you may find the need to deactivate the IP Whitelisting feature, perhaps for troubleshooting, broader access, or other administrative reasons. Disabling it is straightforward.


  • You must have enabled IP whitelisting for your Josys account.

Follow the steps below to disable IP whitelisting:

Step 1: Navigate to the Security tab on the side panel and select IP Whitelisting.

Step 2: You will see a list of all whitelisted IPs or IP ranges. 

Step 3: Find the IP address or range of IPs you wish to disable. If you want to disable the entire whitelisting feature, you can skip to the next step. However, if you wish to remove specific IPs, click on the Delete option next to the IP address or range you want to delete.

Step 4: Click Disable (located at the top left) to deactivate the IP Whitelisting feature completely.

Please note: Disabling IP whitelisting will grant access to Josys from any IP address, so ensure you've considered the security implications of this action.

Upon deactivation, users from any IP address will be able to log into Josys without restriction based on IP addresses.
