Josys enables employees to track their app requests and take necessary actions whenever required. Whether it is a request for a new app, an additional license, or permission modification, the tracking feature allows employees to view updates and track app approval statuses, providing clarity throughout the process. By easily checking the status, employees can stay on top of their requests and ensure they receive the necessary tools to perform their work efficiently.
Steps to Track App Request
Step 1: Log in to Josys Employee Portal using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the My Requests menu. This screen displays the app request details which include the following:
- Request Type: Specifies the type of request made, such as requesting access to a new app, additional licenses for an existing app, or modifications to permissions or roles for an app.
- App: Displays the name of the app for which the request has been made.
- Status: Indicates the current status of the request, such as Open or Rejected.
- Open: The request has been created and is awaiting review. This is typically the initial status of the request.
- Pending Approval: The request requires approval before any further action can be taken by the IT admin.
- Approved: The request has been reviewed and approved, allowing the necessary actions to proceed.
- Rejected: The request has been reviewed and rejected, meaning no further action will be taken.
In-Progress: The request is actively being worked on by the admin, indicating that significant steps are being taken to address or resolve the issue.
On-Hold: The request is paused due to external factors or pending additional information.
Awaiting Employee Response: The request is awaiting a response or additional details from the employee who made the request
Closed: The request is officially closed, indicating that the issue has been resolved or the request has been fulfilled, and no further action is needed.
- Assigned To: Displays the user's name responsible for approving the request.
- Created On: Specifies the date and time when the request was submitted.
- Requested for: Identifies whether the request was made for the employee themselves or on behalf of a colleague.
Step 3: You can create a new app request by clicking the New Request. Learn about the steps from
Step 4: Click on a request to view the key details of the app request, including the request type, app requested, requester, creation date, and more. The employee can also see any comments made by the IT Admin and respond accordingly.
Filters
You can use filters to search for requests based on their status and request type. This allows you to quickly narrow down and find specific requests, making it easier to manage and track their progress.
