JitBit Integration

Integrating JitBit with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage user accounts.   



Key benefits


When you integrate Josys with JitBit, you can

  • View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, company name, department, and timestamp of the user's most recent account usage.
  • Perform actions: Delete and disable a user account.


Note: Josys supports multiple JitBit integrations.



Prerequisites


Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

  • A JitBit admin account
  • An API Token
  • A Subdomain
  • A Freelancer, Startup, Company, or an Enterprise plan.


Locating the API Token


Step 1: Log in to JitBit using an account with admin privileges. 


Step 2: Go to the User Profile at the top-right and select the User Profile


Step 3: Scroll down to find the API token under the Tickets tab. 



Step 3: Copy the API Token to use later in the integration steps.





Locating the Subdomain


Step 1: Log in to JitBit using an account with admin privileges. 


Step 2: Click the Administration tab and select General settings.



Step 3: Copy the Subdomain from the Helpdesk URL in the General settings. For example, if your Helpdesk URL is helpdesk.jitbit.com, the helpdesk is the subdomain.




Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select JitBit from the App Catalog in the Apps section.


Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field

Step 3: Enter the Subdomain and API Token copied in the previous sections in their respective fields and click Next to proceed.


Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
