Integrating Ping Identity with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Ping Identity, you can view the list of user accounts, including their status, roles, account creation timestamp, and multi-factor authentication-enabled status.
Note: Josys supports multiple Ping Identity integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Ping Identity admin account
- An Essential, Plus, or Premium plan
- The Region, Environment ID, Client ID, and Client Secret
Locating the Region and Environment ID
Log in to Ping Identity using an admin account. Select Environment Properties from Settings and copy the Environment ID and Region for later use in the integration steps.
Locating the Client ID and Client Secret
Step 1: Log in to Ping Identity using an admin account. Select Applications from the Applications menu and click Add.
Step 2: Enter the Name to identify the application. Select Worker as the Application Type and click Save.
Step 3: Click Edit in the Configuration tab.
Step 4: Select the following options:
- Code
- Authorization Code
- Client Credentials
- Refresh Token
Step 5: Enter the following Redirect URL and click Save.

Step 6: Enable the application. Click Generate New Secret and copy the Client Secret and Client ID for later use in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Ping Identity from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Region, and enter the Environment ID, Client ID, and Client Secret copied in the previous sections. Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
