Integrating Qlik with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Qlik, you can view user account details, including their status and roles.
Note: Josys supports multiple Qlik integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Qlik admin account
- The Region, Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret
- The Qlik Sense Business or Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS plan
Locating the Client ID and Client Secret
Step 1: Log in to Qlik using an admin account. Navigate to OAuth in the left menu and then click Create new.
Step 2: Select "Web" as the Client type, enter a suitable Name to identify the integration, and select all Scopes.
Step 3: Enter the following "Redirect URL" in the Add redirect URLs field, click Add, and then click Create.
Redirect URL: https://app.josys.it/admin/integrations/callback/qlik
Step 4: Copy the Client ID and Client secret to use later in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Qlik from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Select the Region that was specified during the registration process at the Qlik.
Step 3: Enter the tenant id in the respective field. You can acquire the Tenant Id from the login URL. For example, in the URL https://yourtenantid.sg.qlikcloud.com/, yourtenantid is the tenant id.
Step 4: Enter the Client ID and Client Secret copied in the previous section and click Next to proceed.
Step 5: Log in to Qlik using an admin account. Follow the guided steps to authorize Josys and complete the integration.
Step 6: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
